Ruth May Ince, 94, of Pecos, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2007, at the Pecos Nursing Home. Proceeded in death by her parents, six sons and one daughter Lupita Pena, Mary is also survived by many nieces and nephews and wonderful friends who loved her dearly. Mass was held at 2 p.m., Monday, March 5, at Santa Rosa Catholic Church with burial in Santa Rosa Cemetery. Survivors include one son, Jacob Martinez of Pecos; one step-son, Marcos Garcia; two step-daughters, Teresa and Rene Garcia of Dallas, Catrina Garcia of Odessa; two brothers, Ramon and Oscar Hernandez of Pecos; two sisters, Paula Payen and Estella Munoz of Pecos. Survivors include one son, Michael Munoz of Pecos; three daughters, Elida and Patricia Munoz of Pecos, Ysa Munoz Perez of Kansas; two brothers, Oscar and Ramon Hernandez of Pecos; one sister, Pabla Hernandez of Pecos; 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Survivors include two sons, Pedro Navarrete of Presidio, Epitacio Navarrete of Carlsbad, N.M.; five daughters, Genobaba Travizo of Presidio, Maria Garcia of Pecos, Simona Rodriguez of Presidio, Elvira Gonzalez of Carlsbad, N.M., Eva Navarrete of Odessa; one sister, Casamira Estrada of Vista, Calif. and numerous grandchildren. There he was employed by Duval Corporation, eventually transferring to Pecos to help open the Culberson Sulphur Mine.
