Also, the stickers start on cards that must be shuffled, so even if vinyl stickers worked on the board, you wouldnt be able to put them back on the cards (which have important information on them). If you have a big win, the game remembers this in the form of glory, but there are many other ways (see your charter chest) for ways to win the campaign.
